Hi, we're planning our first trip to Disney in March for our twin girls 5th birthday. We were unable to get reservations to eat at the castle ☹️, can we still go inside and experience the castle?

    Hi Patty,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Between you and me, Mickey and Minnie Mouse just jumped for joy when they heard that you are bringing your twin girls to see them at the Walt Disney World Resort! I am happy to greet a fellow North Carolinian and fellow mother of twins!

As you have discovered, Dining Reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table are difficult to make. If you are unable to make a reservation, you can walk through the main castle corridor but you will not be able to experience the interior.

I suggest that you keep trying to make a dining reservation. I have been able to make a dining reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table when it looked as if nothing was available. Be flexible with your times. I was able to get a lunch.

Here we go - I am going to share a tip with you that may sound crazy. To get that lunch reservation, I constantly checked the reservation system for weeks. Then one night, I sat on my couch and just kept hitting "Search Times" for two hours. When I saw a time finally open up I could not believe it! I reserved it immediately. You can also try searching the week prior to your arrival. Guests often make changes just before they arrive.

When my girls were 5-years old, they had their first dining experience at Cinderella's Royal Table. We ordered princess balloons for them from Disney Floral & Gifts. The balloons were delivered to the table and the girls were ecstatic.

You might also try making a dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare. We love it.

I am sending pixie dust your way hoping that you get to dine in the castle!
