Planning our first trip to Disney, never been to Florida. What month do you feel would be better to go February or April. We want to be able to enjoy pools, theme parks and the sunny weather. Thank you

    Greeting Laura!

Planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is truly a magical adventure. You are starting early, and I think that is a very good thing. There are so many choices ahead of you!

I have visited the Walt Disney World Resort during eight different months of the year. Both of the months you have chosen are fantastic times to visit. February temperatures are moderate with an average of 75 degrees. This is warm enough to enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort hotel but cool enough to make park touring very comfortable.  April is a bit warmer with an average daily high of 84 degrees, making a visit to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park or Disney's Blizzard Beach water park even more attractive. However, in 2020, Easter is in mid-April. This holiday can add much larger crowds to your trip.

If I were choosing, I would probably select February. I would make this choice to ensure that I missed the spring break and holiday crowds. But, really, you can't go wrong with either month!

I hope this helps with your vacation planning. If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
