I am planning my first trip to Disney during the end of February (22-26th). I am planning to put a deposit down on a vaction package (room and tickets only) the end of January. How long will I have to pay the remaing balance?

    Hi there Amy,

I am so excited to hear that you're getting close to booking your first ever visit to Walt Disney World.  In my opinion, Disney World is the ultimate vacation destination and there's really never been a better time to visit!  Late February is perfect because the temperatures will be comfortable and the crowds will be much lower than usual which means shorter wait times on your favorite attractions!  Sounds like a dream come true, doesn't it!?

So, as you've noticed, a $200 deposit is required at the time of booking a Walt Disney World vacation package and the full balance will be due 45 days prior to your arrival date.  Since you are already within that 45 day window, the full balance will be due when you book your reservation.

If you decide to book a room-only reservation, a deposit in the amount of one night's stay will be charged at the time of booking, with the remainder being due when you check-in (or you can make payments online up until your arrival).  If having the option to make payments is a must, then this might be your best bet. You will be able to purchase your park tickets online a la carte or you can wait until you arrive and purchase them at your resort!

    Best Wishes,
