Hi we are planning to take our first trip to Disney in April 2016, eight adults two teenagers. We would like to stay together, facilities to include a swimming pool, we are on a budget but would like at least four separate bedrooms. From the UK

    Kate:

If you're on a budget and desire all the amenities that staying on Disney property allows you, from bus transportation to package delivery, I'd consider the Value resorts. However, if you want a pool that is above average, I'd strongly recommend Art of Animation within that class of resorts. The pool's zero-entry and water elements aren't just for toddlers. The theme of the pool draws guests into the undersea world of Ariel and creates memories and fun splash opportunities for kids of all ages.

One of my sons visited the resort as a young teen and loved not only the themes in the room but also the arcade. It's Disney newest property in the Value resorts and for the small increase in price, I feel is well worth it.

Another option at the resort is to consider booking two of the rooms in your group as a suite. Not only will it allow your group a centralized location in which to visit in the morning or evenings, you'll get a miniature refrigerator and microwave that may come in handy for cooking a few breakfasts in your room to help you recoup the cost for the upgrade. The suites offer two bathrooms as well as sleeping accommodations for 6.

If you have any more questions about the other Value resorts, feel free to come back and ask us.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
