Planning my first (& only) time visit with my 6 year old granddaughter in February. I am finding the whole thing very overwhelming.  Is there a book to buy that could help me plan things out, any advice at all would be so very helpful

Hi Wilma - congratulations on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World with your granddaughter!  How exciting!

I understand that it can be incredibly overwhelming!  Of course, we here at the Moms Panel are happy to help you with your vacation planning, but sometimes reading a guidebook first can really help pinpoint the specific questions you want to ask.  There are some great third-party guidebooks available, and my favorite three are the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World, and the Passporter.  You may want to pick up one or two of them at your favorite bookstore, then come back over here for any specific questions.

Have a great vacation!  Don't forget that half the fun is in the planning!
