We are planning our first resort vacation. We have been to Disney many times, but have never invested in a WDW resort. Our kids are 2 and 5, both boys. We are looking for the biggest bang for our buck for a 7 day stay...?

Hi Vanessa! How exciting you are planning your first stay at a Walt Disney World Resort!  There are so many advantages to staying at a Walt DIsney World Resort which include Extra Magic Hours, complimentary transportation, Disney's Magical Express, Disney DIning Plan, room charging privileges, complimentary package delivery, plus much more.

The Value Resort Hotels are traditionally the least expensive and will accommodate four guests. In the Value Category, I recommend Disney's Pop Century Resort which has a dedicated bus line that does not share with any other resort. In the Moderate Category, I would recommend Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort which is themed after rural Louisiana and offers a relaxing atmosphere and fun recreational activities. Guests can take the Sassagoula River Cruise (water taxi) to Downtown Disney from this resort location. In the Deluxe Category, I would suggest Disney's Wilderness Lodge which has unique theming, great dining options, and exciting recreational activities. Guests can also take the motor launch (water taxi) to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

I would recommend calling the Walt DIsney Travel Company at (407) W-DISNEY to inquire about pricing and availability for your specific dates of travel. Be sure to check the Special Offers page by following the link provided to see if there are any discounts available for your dates of interest. I hope this information helps!  Please don't hesitate to write me back if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a magical trip, Vanessa!
    Happy Planning,
