I am planning our first DW trip in June 2012. We have 3 daughters -ages 7, 9, 13. We will be staying in Kissimmee for 7days, 4 days will be spent at the park. We arrive Wed June13. What park should we see first?

    Hi Lisa,

Your family must be so excited about your first trip to Walt Disney World.  Prepare yourselves to be enchanted!

There's really no wrong order in which to visit the four main Disney theme parks, but I'm of the opinion that it is worth visiting the original theme park, the Magic Kingdom, first.  Why not experience the classic attractions that everyone associates with Disney first?

It would be great to spend a restful day of exotic exploration at Disney's Animal Kingdom on day two.  Then head to Epcot on day three.  I'm going to suggest you save Disney's Hollywood Studios for day four because there are some attractions that are particularly well-suited to the ages of your children there, especially if your girls enjoy thrill rides.

Don't forget to choose at least one character dining experience during your stay.  You'll get amazing photos of your kids interacting with the Disney characters at these meals.  You could schedule this type of experience at restaurants inside the Disney theme parks or save this kind of fun for a non-Disney theme park day.  If you visit a Disney restaurant outside the theme parks, no admission ticket is required.  Let us know if you need suggestions for where to dine.  I love Disney dining questions!

Best wishes to you as you plan your magical Disney adventure!
