Hello. We are planning our first Disney World trip for this April. I was wondering if we have to rent our stroller in advance, or can we rent one for the duration of our stay once we get there. Thanks Shannon

    Hi Gary and Shannon!

I am so happy to help you plan your family's first trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to get complimentary First Visit buttons to wear during your trip so the Cast Members can help ensure you have an magical vacation. You can pick these up from Guest Relations at any Disney Resort hotel or theme park entrances.

Strollers are available to rent at all of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and Disney Springs. You do not need to reserve one in advance, simply head to the front of the first theme park you visit to secure your rental. You have the option of purchasing a multi-day rental for the duration of your trip, which will save you a bit of money. If you are Park Hopping or if you have purchased a multi-day rental, when you leave a theme park you will return your rented stroller and use your receipt to pick up a new stroller at your next theme park or Disney Springs. While availability is not guaranteed, Walt Disney World Resort can accommodate quite a few little ones and I have never had a problem renting a stroller when I needed one.

If you choose to rent a stroller from third party vendor, I recommend that you use one of the Disney Featured Providers. In that case, you will need to rent your stroller in advance of your trip.

Be sure to check out these awesome additional tips for planning your vacation with your little one! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
