We are planning our first disney trip for my daughters 6th birthday in april. We will also be bringing my son who will be two at the time.We are torn between bringing our four month old as we plan on coming back for each kids fifth bithday.any suggestions?

Hi, Tabbitha!  I have always taken all of my kids to Walt Disney World, the youngest from the time she was four months old.  There are two reasons I opted to bring my tiniest ones whenever we went on vacation to Walt Disney World.  The biggest reason for me was that I simply didn't want to be away from my girls when they were babies (oh, who am I kidding, I hate it when my 21 year old goes away for a weekend!).  I had more than capable grandparents ready, willing, and able to fill in for me, but I preferred having them close.  And my second reason was always that they're so portable at that age!  There really wasn't a good reason not to bring them.

There are some logistics to bringing a tiny one with you.  I loved having a sling to carry them in, making sure I had some free hands to do things for the other children, but I also brought my stroller, so that I could have a place to keep a diaper bag, extra supplies, and also a place to put the baby down for a nap.

There isn't any extra cost to bring a baby that age, and I cherish the memories I have and the photos I took of my kids at every age at Walt Disney World.  Of course, the choice is entirely up to you and how you want your vacation to go, but I say bring the baby!

Have a wonderful birthday celebration for your little princess!
