    Latoya from NJ Asked

Hi I am planning my familys first trip to disney and i want to add the water parks to our tickets but I can't swim and i don't want to spend the money if I won't be able to really utilize the parks any advise would be greatly appreciated thank in advance

Hi, Latoya!  There are lots of things to do at the water parks, even if you can't swim!  You might really enjoy the lazy river, which is about waist deep, but you'll be relaxing in a large inflatable tube.  Many of the water slides are fine for guests that are not strong swimmers, and those that require you to be a good swimmer are sufficiently marked, so you can skip those.

I've taken my non-swimming dad in the past, and he loved the wave pool.  Sort of like going down the shore, you can walk in as far as your comfortable, and let the water come to you.  Most of the attractions have shallow pools that you really don't need to know how to swim to be able to navigate.

I hope you have an awesome time!
