We are planning a family vacation to WDW, staying at a resort hotel. How easy is it to get around with a rollator Walker? Will I be able to get on and off the bus from the airport, the bus from the hotel to the parks and other areas of the resort?

    Hi Alfred!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and for sending us your fantastic questions! I am so happy to help you and I hope that you will continue to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with all of your Disney vacation planning questions.

You will be able to get around Walt Disney World Resort with your Rollator walker without any problems. All complimentary Disney transportation buses can accommodate mobility assistance devices. If you cannot use the steps on the buses, you may use the ramp and roll your Rollator walker into the bus with you. The monorail system is also very easy to access with Rollator walkers. Walt Disney World Resort is one of the most accommodating places for Guests with mobility, visual and auditory disabilities!

Mom’s Quick Tip: I recommend you pick up a “Guide for Guests with Disabilities” park map at the entrance of any Walt Disney World Resort theme park. These park maps denote special viewing areas, include information on transportation accessibility and share tips on navigating the theme parks.

Alfred, I wish your family an absolutely MAGICAL vacation! Please visit us again if you have any more questions. We are always here to help you.
