Planning 1st family vacation for WDW for late January '09. We have 3 boys (15, 13, and 7). I want to get my 7 year old's hair cut at the Main Street Barbershop during our visit. Do you think the older boys will think it is too childish for them?

Our family now makes it a tradition to go to the Harmony Barbershop on Main Street.  The past two times we have been there I have seen adult men getting there hair cut.  I actually had an older gentleman stop us and comment on my daughter's haircut.  He then told us how he had been going to that barber shop every few years since 1979.

The shop is set up more like a real old fashion barber shop.  Most of the haircuts are done within 10 minutes or so.  They do load toddlers up with stickers and paint the spikes on the tops of little boys hairdos.  Your older boys may get caught up in the moment and allow the barber to paint Mickey ears in the side of their crew cuts or they may just choose to get a regular trim.  Either way, I think you'll enjoy the experience.

For some reason there is no place to add a tip on the receipt if you pay by credit card or room charge.  If you usually tip your barber remember to bring a little cash with you.

Take care and enjoy your trip
