I am planning a family vacation in August with a large group of 30+ mouseketeers. We plan to all meet one day at the Magic Kingdom. What do you suggest for such a large group who's ages range from 3 to 65?

    Hi Karen,

A large group of guests visiting the Magic Kingdom makes for a magical day!

I suggest that you start the day with some attractions that your whole group can enjoy. I find that Fantasyland has attractions that all ages find enchanting. Some of these attractions include it's a small world, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, and Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid. For that morning time, you might encourage your whole group to make a Disney FastPass+ selection for Peter Pan's Flight, as this attraction can build long lines.

Around lunchtime, you might consider heading to one of the quick service restaurants at Magic Kingdom, such as Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. It is around this time of day that I would allow the group time to split up. This way, the younger families could head back to their resorts if little ones need to nap, and any thrill-seekers in your group could take in some of the more thrilling rides at Magic Kingdom, such as Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. This would be a good time for your party to make other Disney FastPass+ selections as some of these rides will have longer lines by the afternoon.

For dinner, you can make a reservation for your whole group to come together again. For a group this large in the Magic Kingdom, I would suggest Tony's Town Square Restaurant or Liberty Tree Tavern.

Finally, end the day with everyone taking in the Main Street Electrical Parade and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. The fantastic parade and magical fireworks will be a great way to cap off your day. For a truly special treat, consider booking yourselves into the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party, from which you will have an amazing view of the fireworks and delicious treats to enjoy.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions in your magical planning, Karen!
