Hello, We are planning a family trip to WDW the week of 6/16/2013-6/22/2013. For our honeymoon, (with our 4yr) What is a good schedule plan. we are visiting all 4 parks. w\ a 5 day pass, no park hopper.and staying at POR.

    Hi, Jessica!

Congratulations on planning your honeymoon in Walt Disney World! It's a truly magical place; your whole family will feel it from the moment you step foot on property.

We love Disney's Port Orleans, too, as the theming throughout the resort is just lovely, yet cozy at the same time. Great planning!

Now, for your itinerary, I took a look at touringplans.com, a great unofficial website that predicts crowd levels, and picked the parks that are expected to be the least crowded on each of the days of your stay. If you are planning on skipping the parks 2 days, skip your day of arrival. It's Father's Day, and Magic Kingdom is listed as a park to avoid, so spend the afternoon unpacking, settling in, enjoying your resort, etc. If you'd like a special dinner or are ready to explore something else in the evening, head over to Downtown Disney, where you'll find plenty of excellent Table-Service options as well as great Quick-Service locations as well. (Book a TS reservation in advance, as Father's Day dinners may fill up quickly.)

The rest of your week could be as follows:

    M 6/17: Epcot
    T 6/18: Disney's Hollywood Studios
    W 6/19: Magic Kingdom
TH 6/20: pool / resort / Downtown Disney
    F 6/21: Animal Kingdom
    S 6/22: Magic Kingdom

These suggestions are based purely on crowd predictions, also ensuring that you have more time at Magic Kingdom, which is the classic family favorite; lots of attractions and entertainment geared toward the little one, so you'll want to spend two days there. Keep in mind that park hours are adjusted from time to time, so check the park calendars prior to your departure, in case there are any changes you might want to note.

Send more questions as you think of them, Jessica, and let me know if you'll be on a Dining Plan, too. I'd love to help make this extra special family honeymoon trip to WDW as spectacular as it can be! :-)
