Planning a family trip. We hope to be able to purchase the military promotional tickets at a base before we get to Disneyland. However, is it possible to purchase them at the resort? Would we pay sales tax? Thanks for your help!

    Hey there, Aimee!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing another great question. Also I'd like to thank you and your family for your service to our country.

It is always recommended that you purchase the specially priced 3-Day and 4-Day military promotional park tickets at your local military base. Some exceptions have been made to Guests at the Resort to purchase tickets, but I would purchase before you leave to not have any doubt about obtaining yours. No matter where you purchase your tickets you will not pay a sales tax, and prices are exactly what they show on the promotional page.

Keep in mind that you are allowed to purchase 6 military tickets per promotional year per military sponsor or spouse, but not both. Also the military sponsor must be one of the Guests in your party using a ticket and needs to be present will all Guests at their first entrance into the parks. After that, everyone can split up and enter when they choose without the sponsor present.

Did you know that military personnel can also get great rates at Disneyland Resort Hotels? These discounts are only available on select rooms so make sure you call as soon as possible to get your best rate at (714) 520-5050.

The current promotional period for this year ends December 19, 2018, so I hope you can utilize this amazing ticket offer soon. Have a magical vacation!
