Planning family reunion in Disneyworld for 18 people ages 1-71. I am looking for "something unique" for us to do as a group. Does Fort Wilderness wagon rides accept reservations or you have other suggestions for us?

Hi Sheila! We have planned and spent many a family reunion at Walt Disney World. It is the perfect place to hold the attention of all ages of the family. I know you have a job ahead of you with the dining and FastPass and everything else.

There are several things you can plan for the group that would be unique and fun. Of course they cost extra but in the end the enjoyment is well worth it.  Consider booking a Specialty Cruise, fireworks or Illuminations cruise. If you choose the pontoon boats you could book two of them as they both hold up to 10 guests. You could ask that the captains keep them together for the most part allowing you to converse and take pictures of each other. Another possible idea is booking the Grand One yacht. You will need to check about the number they can accommodate. This is a luxury yacht allowing you to cruise the waters for several hours if you wish and ending with a great location to view the Magic Kingdom nighttime show.

There are also dessert parties you can consider reserving for. The Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party and the
Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party are two favorite locations for an evening of fun.

The Wagon Rides at Fort Wilderness Resort are on a first come basis and you can only reserve ahead for groups of 30-35 persons. You can try calling the Tri Circle D Ranch and discuss your needs and they might be able to work with you. The number to call is 407-824-2832.
