Parade at Magic Kingdom

I am planning my family first trip to Disney and I need to know what is the best park for kids over 9. I have 3 over 9 and 1 under and I really need a park everyone will enjoy.

Hi, Shanika, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Of course, I love ALL of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks and Water Parks, but if I had to choose just one to please the whole family, it would be Magic Kingdom Park. With more than 140 attractions, restaurants and entertainment options combined (including Character meet-and-greets, parades, fireworks and stage shows), there's plenty here to keep your entire party immersed in the Magic from Park opening to closing!

Use My Disney Experience to book your three complimentary FastPass+ experiences (up to 60 days in advance if you’re staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel) to cut down on your wait times. The older kids might enjoy thrilling attractions like Space Mountain or Splash Mountain, while the younger one might like "it's a small world" or The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. There are plenty of attractions you can enjoy as a whole group, though, including Peter Pan's Flight, Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Stop by the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A. and sign the whole family up for Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, too. This complimentary, interactive game will allow you to work together (or separately) to help Merlin defeat Disney Villains throughout the Park! This is one of the absolute highlights of Magic Kingdom Park for me and my family, and we love spending time casting spells and helping each other complete our Adventures.

With something for everyone from the young to the young at heart, Magic Kingdom Park is a true delight!
