Three Generations Aboard Ship

I still planning our 2015 eight days vacations...I'm not sure about 3 days Bahamas cruise and 5 days @ wdw park or 4 days each. What do you suggest?

    Ahoy, Ana!
You're planning my favorite type of vacation - a Land and Sea adventure! (Or, as some of us like to call it: "Surf and Turf"!) There's nothing more fun than going from Cinderella Castle to sand castles on a Disney Cruise!

I always suggest cruising for four nights or longer. There's so much to see and do on a Disney Cruise, and you really need at least four nights to fit it all in! There are three main dining rooms, which you'll rotate to each night. With the additional night, you have time to visit one of the "Adult Only" restaurants, Palo or Remy, without missing a night in one of the other themed venues.

On a three night Bahamian cruise, you'll typically visit Nassau and Disney's private island Castaway Cay. The four night cruise will have an additional "At Sea" day that's a perfect day to explore the ship and check out all the fun activities onboard. (My personal favorites are the trivia games - lots of fun and you can win prizes!) It's also a wonderful time to pamper yourself with a visit to the onboard spa.

On the "land" portion of your cruise, four nights is plenty of time to visit the four parks. With the addition of the new FastPass+ system, you can schedule your park visit in advance! FastPass+ allows guests to pre-book up to three FastPass+ a day per person in one park. After the time passes for your third FastPass+, you can grab another one to use. It's nice to know ahead of time that you'll get to visit your favorite attractions and skip the standby queue! You can find out all about the FastPass+ system here.

I hope this helps! Please come back and visit if you have more questions as you plan your magical vacation. - Diane W.
