I am planning on a DW trip from 12/18-12/22; will it be less crowded since it will be the week before Christmas?

    Hi Cary,

Thanks so much for stopping with your question. Celebrating the holiday season at Walt Disney World is an unforgettable experience from the incredible decorations to the delicious treats. It's one of my favorite times to visit!

It's difficult to predict the crowds with any certainty, but if I were you, I would plan for some relatively busy days in the parks. The holidays are very popular at Walt Disney World, and with good reason! Who doesn't love some extra cheer?

My tip for making the most of a popular holiday at Walt Disney World is start your days early and have a plan of action for the attractions you hope to enjoy. Be sure to make your FastPass+ selections in advance and enjoy the spirit of the season.

In my personal opinion, I do think crowds are likely to pick up even more during Christmas week so to me, your dates sound great! I hope this helps, Cary. Wishing you a very merry vacation!
