We are planning a DisneyWorld senior graduation trip - a few moms do not want the senior week at the beach thing and fortunately our daughters do not want it either. We think DisneyWorld would be a great place to celebrate graduation. Any tips?

Ah, when my daughter graduated they came to her with a camera in her face and asked her where she was going and she probably said, "Walt Disney World"!  We have that moment on record forever!

We took the trip with her best friend and her mom and we had a blast.  I suggest you plan some great dining from the silly like 50's Primetime Cafe in Hollywood Studios where they might even be embarrassed just a little to something very special like Citricos in the Grand Floridian!  Take advantage of doing things you might not do with the whole family such as Cirque de Soleil or Disney Quest.  You can read about both of these things by going to the Disney website,

Don't worry about spending every day in the parks. There is so much to do outside such as parasailing, renting the little Sea Raycer boats, horseback riding, or learning to drive a Segway. These are the experiences that will have the entire group laughing and building memories that will last forever.  You might consider booking one of the fabulous tours that are offered such as the Backstage Safari at the Animal Kingdom park.

We also planned a few activities just for the girls to keep it different. We set up a scavenger hunt for them to do with random things included such as greeting and taking a picture of someone from each of the EPCOT countries that are represented with pavilions. They had to learn something about their country in the process. Of course I think all the pictures ended up being young men but they still learned from their fun experience!

This is an exciting time for them and for you to be able to share a wonderful vacation with your daughters.  If you have more specific questions don't hesitate to ask...we can only do so much in a short space for each answer!
