    Larry from MN Asked

We are planning a Disney World vacation for April. We will be staying on site. We are fortunate to have one of our Florida resident nieces join us for one day. Would she be able to join us in a park that would be having extra magic hours?

    Hi Larry,

Glad you stopped by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Still some time to go until your vacation, but in no time, you will be enjoying Spring at Walt Disney World Resort.

Staying at a Disney Resort hotel has its many benefits, including access to Extra Magic Hours, where one of the Theme Parks will open one hour earlier or close two hours later. This gives Resort Hotel Guests more time to experience their favorite attractions.

In order for your niece to enter a Theme Park early or stay late during these exclusive times, she would need to be registered under your room reservation. Since she is only coming for one day, you could ask the front desk to add her as a "Day Guest" to your reservation, provided that you do not exceed the maximum occupancy for your room. She should then be able to add the room reservation to her My Disney Experience account and be able to have fun with you.

One last tip: remember to make advanced dining reservations 180 days before your Check-In. I am sure your niece would love to enjoy a delicious meal with you. Happy planning!
