We are planning to be at Disney World over Christmas. Could you tell me which park would be the least crowded on Christmas day to go to, and where would be a good place to eat Christmas dinner.

    Hello Linda!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question! The holidays are the most magical time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, but they are also extremely popular, so planning is of the utmost importance.

Christmas day is one of the busiest days to visit, so I recommend going to Epcot because this theme park can accommodate a larger number of Guests. In my opinion, this is also where you will find the best dining options for Christmas dinner. My suggestion for this very special day is Biergarten Restaurant. I always feel like I am at my Oma’s house at Christmas time when I have dinner here. The great band and excellent beer just add more fun to this dining location. What I also love about Epcot is that you get to experience international traditions with Holidays Around the World at the World Showcase.

To make the most of your holiday visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I highly recommend staying at a Disney Resort hotel to enjoy amazing benefits. You will be able to make FastPass+ selections 60 days before your check-in date, while other Guests can only do so 30 days before arrival. Making sure you are able to select your favorite experiences is really important during busy times.

I hope this helps you while planning! Keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for more updates on holiday celebrations and events at the place where dreams come true!

    Best magical wishes,
