Planning disney 2nd week of June this year. 5 adults/2 children 9 and 4. We have a 2 day park hopper and were wondering which 2 parks are best together. Is it possible to get fastpasses in the parks later in the day for the popular rides? 1st timers!

    Hi Annette,

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel and congratulations on planning your first Walt Disney World vacation! While most love to dedicate whole days to each Walt Disney World Park, it's definitely doable to see the 4 parks within 2 days. The Magic Kingdom and Epcot are the parks that may yield the most time, so I would suggest not doing those on the same day. The best part about both of these parks is that you can dedicate your morning or night to visiting them.

Animal Kingdom is the park that I would visit in the morning of your first day, since the animals are more lively during the morning hours, and the park closes at 8pm. During the late afternoon or evening, I'd go to Magic Kingdom. You'll be able to finish out the day on classic rides like Dumbo The Flying Elephant and Peter Pan's Flight. The Wishes nighttime spectacular is one of the most magical shows you'll see during your vacation. It's not a Disney experience without viewing Wishes!

On your second day, I'd start off at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The kids (and adults) will love Toy Story Mania, so be sure to make early FastPass+ selections for that attraction. The Disney Junior Play 'n Dine lunch at Hollywood & Vine would be a great break during the day. Disney Junior characters provide a fun and music-filled experience and everyone will enjoy the buffet. Finish off the day at Epcot where you can ride the popular attractions like Test Track and Soarin'. The pavilions are just as entertaining in the evening as they are during the day. Illuminations fireworks show is a great way to end the day.

Annette, I hope this answer helps you with your vacation planning. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
