I am planning a Disney vacation 5/31-6/7. We purchased a 5day magic your way ticket w/ park hopper, water park & more option. Curious what the "more" is & how I get the most out of my ticket? Does my ticket mean I have 5 days of parks, 5

    Kelly:

Your ticket offers LOTS of extras to choose from for your week-long visit. You can click here, then choose "Learn More" under "Select Ticket Option" to read all of the fine print, but in a nutshell, this option gives you the same number of visits to the Water Parks and a few other attractions as you have days on your ticket. Because you purchased a 5-Day Ticket, you'll have five additional visits to these other experiences that include two water parks, Disney Quest, two mini golf courses, and ESPN's Playstation Pavilion.

If you're like our family, you may not want to burn an entire day on your ticket for the theme parks on your day of arrival/departure. To get the most of your ticket, head to one of the water parks as soon as you arrive. If you're driving, you may want to consider dropping off older teens or a spouse with your children to enjoy Typhoon Lagoon while you check-in and get your room settled. The water parks don't close until 6 p.m. on May 31, so you can head to dinner afterward and get tucked in early enough so you can be off to your first park bright and early the next day.

Animal Kingdom closes considerably more early than the other theme parks, so heading to Downtown Disney for dinner and a late night at Disney Quest optimizes another visit on your ticket. Because you'll be there for six full days, you'll have an entire day of your itinerary to take in the second water park (we like to use a full day for Blizzard Beach) and your ticket's third visit. Consider taking a break mid-day when the water park crowd starts to swell, and step just feet from the entrance and use another visit on Winter Summerland, one of Disney's miniature golf courses. This leaves you one last visit to burn on your day of departure: an early-morning tee time at Oak Trail sounds good to me!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
