planning 3 rd Disney trip, never used dining plan. We love a good breakfast, quick light sandwich for lunch and sit down dinner. Maybe a dinner show or two? Can you recommend which dining plan would work best?

    Hi Jennifer!

I suggest the Disney Dining Plan for you and your party. Each Guest receives 1 Table-Service Meal or full buffet, 1 Quick-Service Meal, and 1 snack per day. You also receive 1 Resort-Refillable Mug per person. One of the ways our family stretches this meal plan is to fill our mugs in the morning with a breakfast-like drink (hot cocoa or coffee) and use our snack credit within the park we are visiting that day. Epcot is one of the best places for us to use the snack credit for breakfast, since they bakeries are so fantastic!

For lunch, we use our Quick-Service credit. Depending on the Quick-Service restaurant, we are sometimes able to share a meal, which frees up some credits to use for dinner. If we plan to do a Character Dining experience, and we need more than one credit, we use our Table-Service credits for that. The key is to remember to use those snack credits! They are often forgotten about until the end of your trip, and they can yield you some great breakfast finds within the parks.

I hope this helps you with your vacation planning, Jennifer. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us anytime. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
