Hi Moms, I am planning a disney trip for my son's Birthday it will be the frist time we are there and I want to make this trip the best but I must stay in a budget what are some really good ideas to make this an even more special trip?

    Hi Carmen,

I am so excited that you are planning your first trip to Walt Disney World!  Birthdays are so special, however, they become Magical at Disney.  I have several recommendations for you that will keep you within your budget.  When you check-in to your resort, let them know it is your son's birthday.  Sometimes they will be able to arrange a special card from his favorite character.  Also, you can request a call from Mickey to wish him a happy birthday.  Go to Guest Relations once you arrive at any of the theme parks and ask for a "Happy Birthday" button.  This way Cast Members and other guests can help you celebrate your son's birthday.  If you have reservation at any of the restaurants for lunch or dinner, mention it is his birthday, and he will get a special dessert.  You may want to look at Disney Floral & Gifts to see you would like to have these gifts delivered in your room.  I know some of the gifts can be expensive, however I wanted you to know about the website in case you were interested.  Whatever theme park you are going to that day, obtain a Park Map and have him circle all the attractions he would like to go on for the day and use this as your guide.  Remember just being at Walt Disney World is special enough, and I know that you both will have so much fun celebrating his special day together!   Please wish your son a Happy Birthday from all of us at the Walt Disney World Mom's Panel!
