Hi, we are planning a Disney cruise to Alaska but our children are too young for many of the excursions (4 AND 6). Is it ok to leave our children in oceaners or some other onboard childcare while we go ashore. If so, is there an additional charge?

    Hi Julie -

Welcome to the Moms Panel. Thank you for visiting and logging in a question. You must be very excited picking and choosing your port adventures in all the ports that you'll be visiting in Alaska. That's such an awesome destination - and there's so much beauty to appreciate.

You are more than welcome to leave your 4 and 6 year old buccaneers at the Oceaneer Club & Lab while you enjoy the sights and excursions for the day. At this age, I'm sure they'll love the adventure of being on their own. The kids might actually prefer this - since there is something exciting happening at the Youth Clubs every day. My kids can be there from morning 'til midnight and wouldn't mind being left on their own while in there. The Youth Counselors are awesome, and they really do engage with the kids to allow each young cruiser to experience a magical time. The best part about it? Participation in Oceaneer Club & Lab is all included in your cruise cost. That means more opportunities for Date Nights, Julie!  :-)

I hope that this information helps. Please let us know if we can help in any other way to help plan your upcoming magical cruise.

    Bon voyage!
