When planning to make dining reservations: Do you have to wait 180 days prior each day of your vacation, or 180 days from the start of your vacation?

Hi, Jamie! There are so many wonderful benefits to being a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. These Guests do have the ability to book various dining and activity reservations in a distinct way. Beginning 180 days from the date of check-in, Resort hotel Guests can begin making their dining and certain activity reservations for the entire length of stay, up to 10 days. At the pre-vacation 180-day mark at around 6:00 a.m. online, you can sign on to your My Disney Experience account associated with your hotel reservation and make an Advanced Dining Reservation at your favorite restaurant. Sometimes the online system can be sleepy, so you may need to call Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463, to complete booking of your reservations. If you plan on taking part in a special activity, such as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, The Pirate's League, or maybe the Wonderland Tea Party during your trip, you can also make those reservations as the 180-day window opens.

How this differs from Guests not staying on property is that non-Resort hotel Guests will need to book their various reservations one day at a time, 180 days in advance of each day. So, 180 days in advance of check-in, you could book reservations for that day only. The next morning, you could book for the second day of your trip, and so on.

Selection of FastPass+ experiences will work in this very same way. Beginning 60 days in advance of your date of check-in to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to complete your FastPass+ selections for each day of your vacation, provided you have theme park tickets attached to your My Disney Experience account. If you are not staying at a Resort hotel, then your FastPass+ selections can be completed up to 30 days in advance of check-in and will be done one day at a time.

I hope this information helps you while planning your trip, Jamie. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
