We are planning on the DDP for our trip this fall and was wondering if my 11 year old would be allowed to order from the child menu it she does not find something suitable for the adult menu?

    Hi Kimberley!

My son who is 15 can be a picky eater too and often he doesn't like want is offered on the adult menu so he orders from the children's menu. Most restaurants in Walt Disney World will let you purchase a kids meal for kids older than ages 3 to 9 or even if they are considered an adult. It is really up to that particular restaurant so it doesn't hurt to ask. You can ask for a larger portion of a kid's meal for a nominal additional fee or you can order two kids meals (typically under $20.00 total for both kid's meals which is cheaper than an adult meal) like my son does. For Buffets, Character Meals, and Dinner Shows you will have to pay full adult price for the meal.

I hope that all of your meals are magical on your next Walt Disney World vacation!
