Hi Tamara,
You must be getting really excited for your September vacation to the most magical place on earth! It's just a few short weeks away!
With five-day tickets, you'll be able to soak up SO MUCH magic and fun! While you might see higher crowd levels on the weekends, there really isn't a noticeable crowd level difference between theme parks based on the day of the week. What
could impact the crowd level each day is
Extra Magic Hours. If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, having access to a theme park one hour earlier in the morning or two hours later in the evening is a GREAT perk and I'd encourage you to take advantage of it, but if you're staying off-site, you may want to avoid the theme park with Extra Magic Hours each day. My family likes to check the
calendar for the theme park with the longest hours so that we can maximize our time in the parks.
If you're staying off-site, your
FastPass+ window will open at 7:00 a.m. Eastern time 30 days in advance. I'd definitely encourage you to take full advantage of that wonderful, complimentary service! You'll be able to make three selections per day ahead of time to skip the standby lines, and then once you've enjoyed those experiences, you may use the
My Disney Experience app or an in-park kiosk to make additional FastPass+ selections, one at a time, until the theme parks close for the day.
Have fun planning your itinerary, let us know if you have any other questions, and enjoy the anticipation of your upcoming trip, Tamara! I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
