We're planning a 4 day visit at WDW, staying at a Disney Hotel and including dining plan. Is it possible to link our dining plan to restaurant reservations and character experiences? Are dining plan available both inside and outside the parks?

Hi, Maria Cristina! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am sure that you are as pleased as a Pixie to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort so soon! The Disney Dining Plan is such a great way to easily budget for your vacation. If you haven’t already, might I suggest creating a My Disney Experience account? From here, you can link Advanced Dining Reservations by using the reservation number, or even book your Disney Dining right through the app! This is where you can also schedule your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days before your arrival. If you have others joining you, you can add them to your “My Family & Friends” list in order to easily manage everyone in one spot!

In terms of which Disney Restaurants accept the Disney Dining Plan, there is a variety found at Disney Resort hotels, Disney Springs, as well as at each of the Disney Theme Parks. When looking online, you can see the “Dining Plans Accepted” wording beside the Disney Restaurant name. If you are looking for where to use Snack entitlements, make sure to look for the purple and white Disney Dining Plan Snack icon at Quick Service Restaurants and Food Carts.

I hope I am answering all of your questions, but if I did not, please come see us again!

    Bon appetit!
