I am planning a 7 day vacation with my family end of May beginning of June. I wanted to know if this is a good time to visit and how to get the most out of our visit.

    Hi there, Alexis!

I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in late May/early June. To be honest, this is one of my favorite times of the year to visit as my kids are just getting out of school for the summer, and it's a great way to kick off the summer break.

Since you will have several days to explore the theme parks and the weather will most likely be warm, I recommend hitting the parks early when the temperature is lower and the crowds are typically smaller. I would also suggest heading back to your Disney Resort hotel for a midday break. My family of six loves to hit the parks first thing in the morning and then return to the resort for a nap and to cool off in the pool before heading back in the early evening to enjoy the nighttime activities in the park. As you create your itinerary, consider planning a non-park day in the middle of your trip to sleep in and enjoy a more relaxed day at your resort or Disney Springs. If time permits, you may consider visiting one of the Disney Water Parks for a day of splashtastic fun. My kids love the fun theming and thrilling waterslides at both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

To maximize your time in the parks, be sure to book FastPass+ selections in advance. If you have not done so already, book Advanced Dining Reservations as soon as possible as many of the more popular dining locations can book up several months in advance.

I hope this information is helpful! Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical vacation!

    Happy Planning,
