Planning a 7 day vacation to Disney World: Should we get park hopper tickets or base tickets?

Hi Laura! Thanks for the great question! And it's actually a hard one to answer because it's depends on your travel group. The Park Hopper Option allows you to access to any or all four theme parks, the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, the Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios on the same day.

When my daughter was younger, we never added the Park Hopper Option. One park per day was plenty for her (and us) to handle. Since you're there for seven days, you'll have plenty of time to visit each park and you can even return to those you want to re-visit. That being said, we always add it on now. The Park Hopper Option is a great value, especially for longer stays, as the price is the same. Currently, it costs an extra $64 on an seven day park ticket. It's totally worth it to visit a theme park that's open later in the evening, enjoy the fireworks, a few attractions and a late meal.

I hope this helps Laura! Write us back with any other questions as you plan your magical vacation!
