Planning a 6 day trip in July. Kids ages 7, 10, 13. Would you recommend 2 days at Animal Kingdom or 2 days at DHS? We will visit each park once and MK twice and one other park twice. Thanks.

Hello Eric and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a great question!  As you probably know, it will be hot when you visit in July, so you are smart to plan multiple days at some parks to be able to pace yourself. You have already decided to do two days at the Magic Kingdom, which I think is an excellent move- there are so many attractions at this iconic theme park.

Disney's Animal Kingdom just happens to be my favorite of all of the Walt Disney World theme parks. Of course, there are fantastic animals to see and attractions to experience, but what sets this park apart from the others for me are the shows.  Festival of the Lion King captures many of the musical highlights of the movie while also adding some fun elements like "tumble monkeys."  Finding Nemo- The Musical tells the story of Nemo's epic adventures with the addition of original songs.  My husband's favorite show has recently been updated. UP! A Great Bird Adventure takes an unexpected look at our feathered friends. Add in some energy expending dance parties and an eye-popping nighttime spectacular, and you can nearly fill an entire day with just the entertainment available at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.  I guess by now it is obvious. If I had to choose, I would spend a second day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.

I hope this helps with your planning.

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
