We are planning a 3 day trip for our almost 5 year old daughter the first week of May. Where would the best place to stay be? How quickly do we need to book a meal with the princesses? What attractions should we see?

Hi, Patrice! How exciting that you're planning a trip to World (WDW) for your little princess! If you would rather spend less on accommodations, the Value Resorts are the ticket with Pop Century being my favored choice in this price category.  For the Moderate Resorts, I recommend one of the Port Orleans Resorts (Riverside or French Quarter) for their close proximity to the Downtown Disney area and their amenities such as dining and recreation options. If you would like to be closest to the parks and enjoy the best in amenities and services, the Deluxe Resorts are going to wow you! My recommendation is to stay on the monorail loop which includes The Contemporary, The Polynesian and The Grand Floridian.

As far as dining with the princesses, the ultimate is to have breakfast, lunch or dinner in Cinderella Castle. However, this experience usually books up first, and since you're already within your 180-day Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) window, you may be out of luck...yet, it never hurts to try. So, as soon as you have definite plans, call 407-WDW-DINE to inquire about a meal in the Castle. Next, you'll want to try securing an ADR at Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus (Epcot's Norway Pavilion) or the Happily Ever After Dinner at The Grand Floridian.

You'll be in no short supply of attractions at all four of the WDW theme parks. Your little princess may enjoy Peter Plan's Flight, Winnie the Pooh, it's a small world, Magic Carpets of Aladdin and Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom. At Epcot, she may like Finding Nemo, Journey into Imagination with Figment, Spaceship Earth and Soarin'. At Animal Kingdom, my little ones like Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King and It's Tough to be a Bug, and Toy Story Mania, Fantasmic! and Voyage of the Little Mermaid are their favorites at Hollywood Studios.

I hope this helps you plan! Come back if you have more questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
