    Hi, Richard!

Congratulations on considering your first cruise -- it truly is a unique vacation experience and no one sails as magically for families as Disney Cruise Line.  You will wonder why you haven't taken the plunge before!

Being my neighbor (next door in Georgia), you know how hot July can get, and you can usually count on Central Florida and the Bahamas experiencing even hotter temperatures.  Yet, with that said, our family has taken a Disney cruise in July, and it really is a great way to beat the heat. The pools, water slides and indoor spaces keep you cool on board, and of course, there's always a breeze when you're zipping across the ocean. You do have to think about how warm it is when the ship is in port -- that's when a wet port adventure comes in handy. When the temperatures drop at home in November, the weather still stays pretty warm in Florida and the Caribbean -- definitely warm enough to swim. Plus, if it gets too cold, the pools are heated.

So, my best advice is to choose which cruise is timed right for your family's schedule. Anytime is the right time to sail -- the hardest part will be leaving on disembarkation day! I hope this helps you.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
