Hi, we are planning to take a cruise in Feb 2014 to the Car. first time and debating whethet to get deluxe fam or concierge fam stateroom. Is it worth it paying the extra $1600? Do u get priority on reser adv or cabna in Cast., prio. Boarding? Ty.

    Ahoy Hershey!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I love to hear you are planning your first adventure on the high seas!  The answer to all your questions is YES!  The extra money you pay for a Concierge Level Suite will entitle you to some very nice perks!  Before you set sail, you will have access to a Concierge Services Specialist who will be able to assist you with all your cruise plans.  You will be allowed to book your onboard fun and adventures ashore 120 days prior to setting sail which is before most Guests (Guests who have cruised with Disney over 10 times also get to reserve at this time.).  This will definitely better your chances of reserving the very sought after private Cabanas on Castaway Cay.  With the limited number of cabanas, these do go very quickly due to their popularity.  Concierge Guests get to enjoy their own separate check-in line and waiting area at the cruise terminal as well as being among the first onboard!  Once on the ship, the Concierge staff will be ready and willing to assist you with all your onboard needs throughout your cruise vacation.  On the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, Concierge Guests are able to enjoy a Concierge Lounge and its amenities and a private Concierge sundeck!  You will also enjoy taking advantage of a full breakfast menu in the mornings and ordering from the full dinner menu in the evenings from your suite.
I hope my answer gives you a good idea of what to expect on the Concierge Level, Hershey!  I'm sure you will think of additional questions so please keep me posted.
Have a magical day and happy planning!
