We are planning a couple of trips to WDW in 2018 and are thinking of getting an Annual Pass. If we order one online, I understand that it cannot be activated until we do it in person. Would we be able to go ahead and schedule fast passes and tours?

    Dear Mike,

Thank you for coming back to visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning for purchasing your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass!

I am an Annual Passholder myself and I absolutely love all of the perks that come along with it!

The good news for your planning purposes are that yes, you can do what you hope to do. You can purchase the Annual Pass and make your FastPass+ selections (at the 60-day mark) and get the Annual Passholder discounts right away.

Then, once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, you will activate your Annual Pass. Be sure to check out all of the 45th anniversary restaurant discounts that are currently available!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
