I am planning on bringing my 1.5 and 3.5 year olds to Blizzard beach and were wondering what the policy is for bringing in food/drink (one of them is a very picky eater!), stroller (for nap time), and swim vests (coast guard approved)?

    Hi Todd!

My son was about a year and a half during his first visit to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and he's almost 11 now!  He fell asleep in a tube as we floated along Cross Country Creek, the lazy river.  We have been Walt Disney World Water Parks Annual Passholders ever since!

You can certainly bring in your own food and drinks as long as there are no glass containers.  This is the same rule across all the parks, so you can bring snacks, food and drinks into the main theme parks as well.  A stroller is essential when you have young kids like yours, so you are more than welcome to bring it in with you.  You can bring your own swim vests, but there are complimentary life vests available at Blizzard Beach if you don't want to pack them.

I highly suggest staking claim of a spot in Tike's Peak, an area specifically geared towards young kids.  There is a side of this area that is in the sand, but a large area on the opposite side that is pavement, which is perfect for rolling your stroller into and parking.  You'll find small slides, shallow water and sprayers for the little ones to play in.

Your whole family can also hit the slopes and ride Teamboat Springs, the family raft ride.  Take the Chairlift or hike the stairs up to the top of the mountain and ride the slopes down to the bottom.  The kids will love it!

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions or if you'd like some help planning your water park day.

    Have a magical day!
