We are planning to bring our grandsons ages 5 and 8 during January 2014. Is the MLK week exceptionally crowded?

    Hi there, Kelly!

I think you will find that any holiday weekend will see an increase in crowds at Walt Disney World.  In my experience, I found that although crowds were definitely higher over Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, President's Day weekend was much more crowded.  Of course, things vary from year to year.  Whatever you decide, go with a plan.  Arrive at the parks prior to opening and you will get so much accomplished while many others are still asleep.  Be sure to visit My Disney Experience to assist with planning, and utilize FastPass (FastPass+) for your trip!

Thanks for visiting us at the DIsney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
