We’re planning to bring our family to Disneyland for Christmas. I’ve gone to theme parks before on New Years Day and they haven’t been busy at all. Would Disneyland be the same? I know the Holidays are busy there so any tips would be appreciated!

    Hi Debra!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, where I'm happy to help you plan your Holiday trip to the Disneyland Resort!
Based on my experience, Christmas is one of the busiest days of the year at Disneyland, which is understandable considering just how Magical the Holidays are at the Disneyland Resort.
Here are some tips I can offer:
*Make plans to dine at a Table Service Restaurant to enjoy a lovely Christmas dinner and make a reservation as early as 60 days in advance. You can book your table online or by phone by calling (714) 781-DINE.
*Make sure you purchase a MaxPass each day of your Park visits. The MaxPass will allow you to make FASTPASS reservations to some of the most popular Park attractions right from your cell phone! All you have to do is download the Disneyland App and login to your Disney account to purchase and activate MaxPass.
*In order to enjoy a great view of some of the nighttime spectaculars like World of Color and Fantasmic!, purchase a special dining package. These promotional dining packages also require advance reservations but each person who purchases a dining package receives a preferred viewing area voucher for the shows.
The Fantasmic! dining package is a wonderful offering, especially if you choose the Blue Bayou option (my favorite).
At the Disney California Adventure Park, you can purchase a World of Color dining package but also a great dessert package where guests can enjoy a seated experience with a variety of decadent desserts and sparkling beverages!
    I hope this helps.
Enjoy the Holidays and have a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time!
