We are planning a break in the first couple of weeks of November and are tied to a specific date. Apart from Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party will the parks be 'Christmassy' or will we be a little too early to see them in all their splendour?

    Hi Kay!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I certainly understand why you would want to see Walt Disney World in all of her holiday splendor. It is a sight to behold!

Typically, Disney starts decking her halls sometime around the first week of November. As soon as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ends (October 31) it seems like its a very short time before jack-o-lanterns are replaced with holly and ornaments and Christmastime magically appears! For a more specific date, you can be sure that the holidays will be in full swing by the first night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (November 7.) If you are visiting around that date you can count on Christmas being in the air and around the Parks everywhere you look. It is the most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World, that's for sure!

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you with your planning. Have a wonderful day and a very Merry Christmas (just a little early!)
