I am planning on booking on the new Dream. However, 4 days is too short, so I am thinking about doing a 4 day and a 3 day consecutively. Can this be done smoothly, ie. keep the same cabin, not remove luggage. Would I have to pay two deposits? Any info?

    Hi Michele,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I'm dreaming of the Dream, and I totally agree - four days is simply not going to be enough time to capture all this ship has to offer.  I held out for one of the five night voyages they are offering - but it still doesn't seem like it will be enough.

Taking back-to-back voyages is actually quite common and fairly simple to do.  I recommend calling (800) 951-3532 to book your reservation so you can select your stateroom for both voyages - this will allow you to specify that you want the same cabin.  Since you are technically booking two cruises, two deposits will be required (and you'll get two sets of cruise documents etc).

If you have the same cabin, you will be permitted to leave your luggage in the stateroom at the end of your first voyage.  You will need to disembark the ship, exit through customs and then check back in on the upper level of the terminal.  If you do not have the same stateroom, stop by guest services the final evening of your cruise and inquire about having your luggage stored onboard while you disembark your first cruise.

Hope this helps - good luck!
