We are planning a big trip to WDW next fall. With staying at a deluxe resort, I am sure we are looking at around $5000. Are there any benefits to having a Disney visa? And putting the vacation on that? We also go to Disneyland every year for 2 nights..

    Hi, Kristina!

It sounds as if you're planning a very special trip to Walt Disney World in Fall 2014! You're going to love staying at one of Disney's Deluxe Resorts! I've been fortunate to have experienced a stay at most of the Deluxe Resorts and have enjoyed the spacious rooms, convenient locations, upscale dining options and upgraded amenities they offer.

I've also been a Disney Rewards Visa card member for several years now and have used my card to book my Walt Disney World Resort reservations and pay for my vacations. The biggest benefit of using the Disney Rewards Visa Card for your vacation is the 0% financing for 6 months you'll receive when you book select vacation packages. You will also receive Disney Dream Reward Dollars ("points") for purchases you make on your card and these points, in turn, can be loaded onto a Disney Rewards Redemption Card which can be used at various Disney locations; for example, at and Disney Store retail locations, and at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort for shopping, dining, tours and even theme park tickets.

I recently answered a question about the Disney Rewards Visa card for another guest -- follow the highlighted link to view more details.

Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions about the Disney Rewards Visa Card or assist you further with any aspect of your vacation planning.
