    Brooke from ME Asked

We are planning a big trip in January with our entire family for my grandmothers 80th bday! My immediate family either needs 2 connecting rooms or a suite. Which is a better deal and/or more convenient? It is my husband, myself and our 3 boys (13, 4, 1).

    Hi Brooke!

This is a great question.  This is the usual situation with my family.  From a pure economic standpoint, it is usually less expensive to get two connecting rooms at a Disney Moderate or Disney Value Resort rather than a family suite at the All Stars Resort or at the new Art of Animation Resort.  A cabin is about on par with two connecting rooms at a Disney Moderate Resort.  A Disney Deluxe 1 Bedroom Villa is usually more expensive than two connecting rooms at a Disney Moderate Resort but typically less than two connecting rooms at a Disney Deluxe Resort.

If you don't mind actually having another room and you don't need a full or partial kitchen for any reason, then I recommend just getting two connecting rooms.  I think that actually gives you more space, more privacy, and more bathrooms which can really be a plus in the morning when everybody is getting ready.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
