Planning a big family trip in November for my daughter's sweet 16. We will have both grandmothers with us. One is a bit of a picky eater, the other has a sensitive stomach. If they want, are they able to order from the kid's menu? Thank you!

Hi, Michael! I love those big family trips, where the whole gang gets to share Walt Disney World together. I hope it's absolutely magical!

I have said this to so many people, and in all of my years traveling to Walt Disney World, I hold it to be true. Disney does it right when it comes to special dietary requests. I have never had a server at any Walt Disney World restaurant refuse a kids meal to anyone in my party - even my 80 year old dad. But more than that, they are so willing to work with you when it comes to the pickiest of eaters or those with dietary restrictions.

You can always ask to have sauces left off, things broiled instead of fried, something presented more plainly than the menu indicates. During a trip not long after I had abdominal surgery, I asked for a pasta dish without the pasta, and was happily accommodated with a bowl of the sauce - which was packed with various seafood.

Enjoy the most amazing celebration for your daughter's Sweet 16. I hope every member of your family makes the most incredible memories of sharing this time together.
