Planning BBB and princess dining for the 4-yr old, but is there something comparable for the 7-yr old son? He's not into character dining or "cool dude" hair. Thanks!

Hi Keri!  There is a wonderful pirate cruise option available to those young men (and women) who love to set sail on the waters of Walt Disney World!

There are four of these cruises available through-out the property at different resorts.  They are have a similar adventure.  Children must be at least 4 years old and not older then 12.  They are given a pirate hat or bandana and set sail on a pontoon pirate ship with their pirate crew.  At each port of call they find a new treasure and at their final stop they enjoy their "booty" while eating lunch.  Lunch consists of peanut butter and jelly uncrustables, goldfish crackers, rice krispie treats and juice.  At least two cast members accompany the group and they are all CPR trained.  All little pirates are fitted with life vests before setting sail.  The duration is two hours. The following locations offer this activity:
Albatross Cruise: Yacht and Beach Club resort
Island of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise: Caribbean resort
Bayou Pirate Cruise: Port Orleans resort
Disney's Pirate Adventure: Grand Floridian resort

    Call 407-939-7529 for reservations

Another wonderful place for a seven year old to have fun is Disney Quest in Downtown Disney. This is Disney's multi story indoor theme park full of interactive activities.  There is an abundance of 3-D reality experiences with my own families favorite being the build your own rollercoaster and then riding it!  For current hours during your stay please call 407-828-4600
