Planning for Aug 2011 trip with DH and DS 13, trying to decide between character b'fast at Cape May or 1900 Park Fare, any thoughts or suggestions as to which would be better? Already doing Crystal Palace (b'fast) and Ohana (dinner). Thanks !

    Hello Debra!

Those are both incredible Walt Disney World character breakfasts!  I have a 13 year old son as well and we really love the Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort which offers an incredible buffet and quality interaction with Minnie, Goofy, and Donald (characters may be subject to change).  It is the most relaxed, least crowded Character Breakfast that I have ever been to in Walt Disney World and we usually get to interact with the Characters 2 to 3 times during breakfast.  I have eaten breakfast three times at Cape May Cafe in the last two years.  This is why Cape May Cafe is my pick for you!

I have not eaten at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa yet, but it is on my list!  The Character Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare currently features Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger, Alice, and the Mad Hatter (characters may be subject to change).  So if any of these characters are special to your son, then maybe you would want to pick 1900 Park Fare.  I have heard that 1900 Park Fare is busier and much louder than Cape May Cafe.  No matter which restaurant that you pick, I'm sure that you will have a fabulous breakfast!

I hope that you make some amazing memories on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
