We are planning to attend the MVMCP. What time is party merchandise available to purchase? Can Fastpasses be booked on a party ticket? I am hoping that cast members will be admitting guests beginning at 4:00. Is that usually the case?

Hello Karen, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I am so excited to hear that you are planning to attend one of my favorite special events at the Walt Disney World Resort. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is just the ticket to get you into the holiday spirit. The Magic Kingdom is dressed up in all its holiday finery for the season.

I am happy to tell you that Cast Members typically begin distributing wristbands to party guests at 4:00 p.m. Keep in mind that this is always subject to change. They will also designate a special entrance for guests who only hold a ticket to the party. They will begin to allow those guests to enter the Magic Kingdom at 4:00 p.m. You can make FastPass+ selections in advance as early as 4:00 p.m.with your party ticket. Since the park will be closing at 6:00 p.m. to regular guests there will not be any FastPass+ availability after the park closes. Since there are a limited number of tickets sold for the party, you will experience minimal wait times for your rides and attractions.

Exclusive merchandise for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be on sale after 4:00 p.m. You must show your wristband at select locations in order to be able to shop prior to the party starting. You will find merchandise sold at The Emporium, Big Top Souvenirs, Mickey’s Star Traders, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, Fantasy Faire, and the Frontier Trading Post. Keep your ears tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for a sneak peek at the holiday offerings.

    Happy Holidays,
    Andrea
