Hi there! I planned a trip for my boyfriend and I at the very beginning of January. This also happens to be the time of the NFL playoffs; oops! Is there by chance a restaurant at any of the parks that might have a TV at a bar area? Specifically AK or HS?

    Hi Jillian!

Choosing between a trip to Walt Disney World and the NFL Playoffs? Luckily, you can have the best of both worlds on your vacation!

Although there are no restaurants or bars within the Walt Disney World theme parks which would allow you to watch the game, fear not, because I've come up with a few great options for you to have your Disney AND NFL fix.

Just a short walk from Hollywood Studios is Disney's Boardwalk Resort. Harkening back to the days of seaside vacations, the BW has everything a guest can experience during a summer vacation on the shore: entertainment, shopping, and food. The best place for a sports fan to get his game on would be ESPN Zone. Located at the Boardwalk resort, this restaurant has plenty (and I mean plenty) of televised sports games and is the place to go on property to enjoy the company of others rooting for their NFL teams. Another option, also at the Boardwalk is Big River Bar and Grill. The only micro-brewery on Disney property, guests can enjoy a seat at the bar watching their favorite team, while enjoying some awesome libations made right there. Many of the moderate and deluxe resorts offer bars which will have televisions that will broadcast the games, so feel free to try some of those out.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie
